Anglo-Eastern Plantations PLC - owner and operator of oil palm plantations in Indonesia and Malaysia - Launches on Thursday a share buyback worth up to GBP5 million. The buyback will be conducted by broker Panmure Liberum Ltd. Anglo-Eastern doesn't set an end-date for the buyback. It says repurchased shares will be held in treasury.

Current stock price: 740.00 pence, up 3.4% in London on Thursday for GBP293.0 million market capitalisation

12-month change: up 6.6%
