(Alliance News) - A new index of the largest companies traded on the JP Jenkins share dealing platform increased by 6.7% in the four weeks that ended Friday last week.

London-based JP Jenkins provides a matched bargain platform for unlisted companies.

It said the JP Jenkins-15 index stood at 1,067.00 points on Friday, up 6.7% from its initial calculation four weeks prior.

The index rise was driven by London-based recruitment firm Resource Group PLC, JP Jenkins said. The stock is quoted at 70.0 pence per share and has a market capitalisation of GBP36 million.

Other large stocks traded on JP Jenkins include Omega Minerals with a GBP441.9 million market cap, Quantum Financial Holdings Ltd at GBP340 million, e-therapeutics PLC at GBP117 million, and iEnergizer Ltd at GBP113 million.
