BATM Advanced Communications Ltd - Hod Hasharon, Israel-based provider of real-time technologies for networking solutions and medical laboratory systems - Expects to report revenue for continuing operations of at least USD117 million in 2024, little changed from USD116.7 million a year prior. Sees adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation for continuing operations of around USD8 million, down from USD9.9 million in 2023. Says revenue increase was achieved against a backdrop of challenging macroeconomic and geopolitical conditions. The increase reflects strong revenue growth in the Cyber and Diagnostics divisions as well as an increase in the group's secondary activities, which offset lower revenues in the Networking division.
Further, will take non-cash impairment in the 2024 results of USD7 million, relating to goodwill for acquisitions of companies in the group's non-core activities, and USD15 million relating to the discontinued eco-med operations, resulting primarily from non-cash impairments.
As a result, net loss for continuing operations for 2024 is expected to be USD7 million compared with a USD1.2 million profit in 2023. Net loss for continuing and discontinued operations for 2024 is expected to be USD22 million.
In addition, sells entire shareholding in Progenetics Ltd, a non-core subsidiary, for USD4 million. Progenetics, was acquired in 2017, and forms part of the group's distribution activities and administers oncological diagnostic tests in Israel. The proceeds of the sale are expected to be received during the first half of 2025.
