(Alliance News) - Hellenic Dynamics PLC said the hearing for the winding-up petition has been brought forward to Wednesday.
The London-based supplier of medical cannabis products emphasised that the hearing was initially to be held on December 18 and adjourned until this week Friday.
"The directors do not believe that the company is responsible for re-imbursing the petitioner for the losses that he is claiming given he is not a trade creditor of the company and is looking to recover, from the company, losses that he suffered by reason of speculative trading of its shares," Hellenic Dynamics said.
In November, the company had said the shareholder is not a creditor of Hellenic Dynamics, and the petition therefore "amounts to an abuse of the process of the High Court".
Shares in the company are currently suspended in London.
