(Alliance News) - Seasonally adjusted industrial production in Ireland climbed in December, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed on Friday.

Seasonally adjusted output climbed 4.3% monthly in December, swung from a previously reported 5.2% monthly decline in November.

Unadjusted, industrial production fell by 11% monthly in December, compared to growth of 0.9% in November.

On-year, seasonally adjusted industrial output grew 8.4% in December, swung from a contraction of 6.2% in November.

Unadjusted, industrial production rose by 11% on-year in December, compared to a 5.6% fall in November.

Seasonally adjusted, manufacturing production over the three months to the end of December rose 0.9% when compared to the prior quarter.

Unadjusted, manufacturing output was up 11% over that three-month period, compared to the three months to the end of September.
