Cognizant Technology - Teaneck, US-based technology consultancy firm - Says it enters joint venture with CrowdStrike Holdings Inc - Austin, US-based cybersecurity developer - to protect businesses' data from cyber attacks.

The "streamlined" service uses CrowdStrike's Falcon technology. The partner firms say this offers an advantage over "legacy tools" in the digital security sector, as it incorporates artificial intelligence.

"As the enterprise digital landscape evolves, it is crucial to leverage AI for cybersecurity and cloud-native security technologies to help stay ahead of threats and ensure the resilience of our clients' infrastructure," says Cognizant's Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar S.

Crowdstrike current share price: USD357.00 each as at Friday in New York

12-month change: up 20%
