----------
SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
----------
Creightons PLC, up 20% at 33.5 pence, 12-month range 18p-33.8p. The Peterborough, England-based beauty and wellbeing consumer goods manufacturer expects half-year pretax profit to be "notably higher" on an annual basis, and says operating profit before exceptionals will surpass the prior year's GBP1.5 million. Says this "healthy" result is thanks to its "strategy of maintaining a tight control on costs, whilst aligning the overhead cost base with activity levels" offsetting a "small reduction in revenue".

Regional REIT Ltd, up 1.8% at 125.4p, 12-month range 121p-353.5p. The Guernsey-based real estate investment trust says it "traded well" and "made good progress" in the third quarter, "completing a number of lease renewals". Says retention remained high with 77.7% of rent roll-up for renewal remaining let. EPRA occupancy was 77.5% at September 30, down from 78.0% at June 30. Regional REIT is "now on a much stronger financial footing" following a recent GBP110.5 million equity fundraise. It will use GBP28.4 million of the raise to reposition the portfolio for "enhancing earnings in the near term and value in the mid to long-term, further underpinning dividend payments going forward".
----------
