(Alliance News) - The following stocks are leading risers and fallers among London Main Market small-caps on Monday.
----------
SMALL-CAP - WINNERS
----------
Zotefoams PLC, up 4.2% at 371 pence, 12-month range 276p-574p. London-based cellular materials company says it realised improved third-quarter sales of 54% to GBP39.7 million from GBP25.7 million the previous year, but acknowledges a relatively weaker comparable trading period. Footwear segment, which accounted for 48% of sales during the period, outperformed expectations following an ongoing supply chain re-configuration from its largest customer, leading to a continuation of increased short-term demand for its foams. However, Zotefoam expects the "exceptional level" of footwear demand to return to normalised patterns in 2025. Adds however that it expects to deliver significant revenue growth in 2024 versus 2023, adding that revenue and adjusted profit before tax are anticipated to be in line with market expectations.
----------
SMALL-CAP - LOSERS
----------
Aptitude Software Group PLC, down 1.9% at 345.5p, 12-month range 230p-388p. Says it repurchased 14,000 shares at average 350.00p each on Friday, for GBP49,000 total.
----------
JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust PLC, down 0.2% at 133.25p, 12-month range 120.5p to 140p. Net asset value per share rises to 151.4p as of July 31, from 147.7p the year before. NAV total return is 6.3%, just underperforming benchmark's 6.4%. Increases total dividend for the year to July 31 to 5.4p from 5.3p. Says there are many reasons for excitement about investment opportunities, expecting lower US rates to create leeway for emerging market central banks.
