Bushveld Minerals Ltd - vanadium producer operating the Vanchem and Vametco processing facilities in South Africa - Withdraws its full-year production guidance for 2024 following "liquidity issues". The company previously forecast group production between 3,800 and 4,000 metric tonnes vanadium, which represented a year-on-year reduction of 400 mtV, but now "finds itself in a position whereby it is unable to continue operating at current production levels". It has begun a controlled slowdown of production at its Vametco facility, the duration of which depends on the receipt of further funding from the sale of its Vanchem facility earlier this year. Bushveld Minerals will address the impact on production guidance in more detail in its third-quarter update at the beginning of November.
