Gem Diamonds Ltd - 70% owner of Letseng diamond mine in Lesotho, southern Africa - Sells 56,944 carats of diamonds during the first half of 2024, up 9.2% from 52,163 a year before, bringing in USD77.9 million in revenue, up 8.8% from USD71.6 million, despite a slightly lower average price of USD1,366 per carat, versus USD1,373. The highest price received was USD41,007 per carat for a 62.8 carat white diamond. Gem recovers 55,873 carats of diamonds from the Letseng mine during the first half, up 10% from 50,601 in the first half of 2023. Says all operational and financial metrics are in line with guidance provided in March.
