(Alliance News) - Crossword Cybersecurity PLC on Tuesday hailed the "strong performance" of its cybersecurity monitoring service Nightingale for the first quarter of 2024.
The London-based cybersecurity solutions provider said its partner has been appointed as preferred cyber security provider for several organisations in the Caribbean, which will be delivered across several multi-year contracts.
The contracts aim to provide incident response and monitoring services following an attack on critical national infrastructure.
Crossword's services in the Caribbean are delivered via a local partner, across industry sectors such as telecommunications, insurance, automotive, oil and gas.
Crossword Cybersecurity shares rose 2.8% to 4.78 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
Group Managing Director Stuart Jubb said: "Crossword is excited to be working in the Caribbean region, leading with our managed cybersecurity services. The Caribbean is becoming increasingly targeted by global threat actors, and our Nightingale service is exceptionally well placed to provide a fully managed and tailored solution to help organisations protect against these growing threats."
Crossword explained: "Threat actors are individuals or groups that intentionally cause harm to digital devices or systems and exploit vulnerabilities in computer systems, networks and software to perpetuate various cyberattacks, including phishing, ransomware and malware attacks."
The Nightingale service recently underwent full alignment with the 2.0 framework from the US National Institute of Standard & Technology, enabling Crossword to strengthen their cyber frameworks in industries with added audit and compliance needs.
Nightingale operates alongside Crossword's Trillion Breach and Harvista products to provide information on dark web activity.
