(Alliance News) - Corero Network Security PLC on Thursday announced the launch of a new automated artificial intelligence-assisted subscription service.

The London-based cybersecurity provider specialises in distributed denial-of-service protection solutions. The newly launched Corero DDoS Intelligence Service will be available as part of an annual subscription to provide customers with pre-emptive attack mitigation to maximise protection.

The service is designed to integrate seamlessly into the company's SmartWall One platform and will be supported in-house by the company's threat research team.

Chief Executive Officer Carl Herberger said: "The launch of our new DDoS Intelligence Service takes our latest DDoS threat research and pushes it straight to our SmartWall One solution, extending our protection capabilities for our customers well beyond existing standard installation and deployment parameters."

Shares in Corero were down 1.9% to 9.07 pence in London on Thursday afternoon.
