(Alliance News) - 4imprint Group PLC on Friday said its revenue significantly increased and expects profit to be at the upper end of forecasts, due to a strong recovery over the year.

The London-based company said group revenue for 2021 totalled around USD787 million. This represents an increase of 41% from the previous year, where the promotional merchandise marketer generated group revenue of GBP560.0 million.

4imprint continued that pretax profit is expected to be at the upper end of analyst forecasts. These predicted that it would generate a pretax profit of around GBP24.2 million.

The company's total full-year order count was 90% of 2019 levels, "demonstrating a strong recovery over the course of the year."

Its net cash balance at year-end was USD41.6 million, up 4.5% from USD39.8 million the year prior.

This provided a "good" financial position for entering 2022, 4imprint noted.

Although the merchandise marketer cautioned that supply chain, inflationary pressures and the lingering effects of the pandemic remain, it affirmed that it was confident about a continued good performance in 2022.

The firm intends to announce its full-year results on March 16.

4imprint shares were up 0.8% at 2,651.10 pence each on Friday morning in London.
