(Alliance News) - Corero Network Security PLC on Wednesday said it has secured a number of customer orders totalling over USD4 million since the half year in the Hosting Provider market segment.

The Massachusetts-based security systems services company noted that revenue associated with these orders will be recognised over the course of the lifetime of each of the contracts.

More specifically, Corero said it has received a multi-million-dollar order from an undisclosed US-based, cloud infrastructure hosting provider. Another order was received from an unnamed US-based managed hosting provider that operates in the US and Europe. The final order was secured via a Corero channel partner, from an undisclosed eastern US provider.

All orders are for deployment of the latest SmartWall TDS solutions with supporting SecureWatch services.

"These wins are also a testament to the strength of our class-leading distributed denial of service protection technology and our comprehensive understanding of this important customer space," said Chief Executive Lionel Chmilewsky.

Corero shares were trading 8.1% higher in London on Wednesday morning at 10.00 pence each.
