Clarkson PLC - London-headquartered shipping services firm - Non-Executive Director Marie-Louise Clayton steps down effective January 31. Will receive normal director fee up to termination date, with no payment for loss of office to be made.

Capita PLC - London-headquartered outsourcer - Hires the former managing director of Hewlett-Packard, India to its board as a non-executive director. The appointment of Neelam Dhawan, who presently serves on the board of Indian private bank ICICI Bank, is effective March 1.

Intermediate Capital Group PLC - London-headquartered asset manager - Appoints Kier Group PLC Chair Matthew Lester to its board as a non-executive director effective April 1. Also appoints Rosemary Leith, co-founding director of the World Wide Web Foundation and a non-executive director at HSBC (UK) PLC and You Gov PLC, to its board as a non-executive director.

Picton Property Income Ltd - property investor - Confirms retirement of Nicholas Thompson as chair and non-executive director. Lena Wilson, a non-executive director with the company, succeeds him as chair immediately and will also chair the nomination committee.

Next Fifteen Communications Group PLC - London-based digital communication group - Confirms that Penny Ladkin-Brand has succeeded Richard Eyre as company chair. She is succeeded as audit committee chair by Robyn Perriss. Ladkin-Brand says: "Next 15 is a fantastic business with exciting growth prospects. I am delighted to be moving into this new role and am looking forward to working more closely with the Next 15 businesses."

Blackrock Throgmorton Trust PLC - London-based investment trust - Hires Merryn Somerset Webb, effective March 31, as a non-executive director. She is currently editor-on-chief of UK personal finance magazine MoneyWeek, writing on financial matters and features regularly for television and radio. Jean Matterson intends to retire as non-executive director at the conclusion of Blackrock Throgmorton's annual general meeting on March 24, with Somerset Webb’s appointment aligned with Matterson's departure under formal succession plans.
