BGF European Focus: Qual. Rating Updated

BGF European Focus has many attractions, but high expenses lessen its appeal.

We have published a new Morningstar Qualitative Rating and Research Report for BGF European Focus.

"When we last reviewed this fund we noted it had much in its favour but we were put off by its high expenses. It’s disappointing therefore that fees have increased slightly since our last review, despite fees at other BlackRock funds coming down. The fund has had its share of managers, too; the latest to take charge was industry veteran Nigel Bolton in Feb. 2008. Stability had not been one of the European team’s strengths in the past and those managers had little in the way of analytical support or a defined research process."
