Invesco Perpetual Global Equity Income has potential, but the new manager is still refining his approach.

We have published a new Morningstar Qualitative Rating and Research Report for IP Global Equity Income.

"Paul Boyne has been in charge of this fund since its launch in March 2009. He joined Invesco Perpetual (IP) in Oct. 2008 after a year out of fund management. Prior to this he spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley before a brief spell as Head of Global Equities at Bank of Ireland. Boyne joined IP as he felt the group’s philosophy and approach to fund management closely mirrored his own--an important factor when managing a global mandate such as this where the process requires Boyne to have faith in the group’s regional managers. . . ."
