Standard Life Higher Income: Qual. Rating Issued

Despite Erlend Lochen’s impending move to the US, investors in Standard Life Higher Income have no need to panic.

We have published a new Morningstar Qualitative Rating and Research Report for Standard Life Higher Income.

"SLI announced plans earlier this year for Erlend Lochen to move to Boston to set up a new office and take charge of the expansion of their fixed income capabilities. But he’s staying at the helm of his UK funds. While we are concerned that the move and associated responsibilities will undoubtedly mean less time spent on this fund, our concerns are mitigated as the head of the team in Edinburgh, Andrew Sutherland, will be helping out. Sutherland was this fund’s former manager, and directly involved in it until 2006, so his continued presence here is reassuring..."
