The nominees for this year's Morningstar Fund Manager of the Year Awards have been revealed. Finallists in two categories have now been announced, Outstanding Fund Manager and Rising Talent, and the winner of the third category, Outstanding Investment House, will be announced at an award ceremony in November.
The annual Fund Manager of the Year Awards, now in their 14th year, recognise and celebrate the best of the UK fund management profession and are selected by Morningstar’s manager research analysts.
The awards draw from fund rating system, which looks at three key pillars behind a fund - its People, Process and Parent company, awarding funds a rating on a scale from Gold down to Negative, based on how well it is expected to perform after fees, while also taking risk into account.

The safety and well-being of our staff and clients is our top concern, and due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, Morningstar has taken the decision not to host a live event. Instead, we would like to honour and celebrate the winners of these awards digitally. We will be announcing the winners on Morningstar.co.uk during the autumn with details to be confirmed in due course.
