Following a recent Morningstar Analyst Ratings meeting, we have reinstated the Invesco Bond fund’s Morningstar Analyst Rating™ of Bronze. The fund’s rating was previously Under Review following the news that manager Mark Nash left the firm in March 2016. As a result, Josef Portelli and Lyndon Man have taken over the management of the fund. Portelli has been managing global aggregate bond portfolios at Invesco since joining in 2012 and worked alongside Nash as a member of the global macro and multi-sector team. Man, on the other hand, joined the firm in 2011 and has been managing credit portfolios, including the credit exposure in Invesco Bond. Both portfolio managers have relevant experience and are fully integrated into the team-based approach at Invesco. Thus we believe they are able to contribute to and effectively execute the investment process.
