A recent survey of Morningstar.co.uk users revealed that 80% are using the site to help them achieve the goal of funding their retirement. Some are also digging into Morningstar data, tools and research to make investment decisions that will help them hit medium-term goals such as a house purchase or paying for children’s education, as well as the ultimate long-term goal of retiring in the style to which you’ve become accustomed.
With changes to the pensions environment seemingly taking place on a weekly basis, it’s no wonder that savers and investors are keen to learn as much as they can about the best way to prepare for a comfortable retirement.
Morningstar.co.uk now has a new area of the site focused primarily on investing for retirement. The new Pensions & ISAs tab offers the best of our investor education, pensions and ISA content, such as guidance on how to invest for retirement, tips on best portfolio practice, and examples of asset allocation frameworks for different life stages.
Visitors to our former ISA tab will now find news on ISAs, Junior ISAs and NISAs on the Pensions & ISAs tab, along with tools to filter ISA-eligible funds by performance, fees, and Morningstar ratings.
Under the Pensions & ISAs tab you’ll find essential information on pensions, such as this recent interview with Hargreaves Lansdown's 'Pensions Monkey' Tom McPhail, tools to screen for life funds or pension funds that meet your personal criteria, and the latest news on your own portfolio holdings.
Don't want to miss anything? Visit the Pensions & ISAs tab to sign up to our new monthly Pensions & ISAs newsletter, formerly the Portfolio & Money Management newsletter, which provide news and research on managing your investments for long-term goals, with a particular focus on investing for—and in—retirement.
You'll also notice a few other changes on the site, namely that the order of the main tabs has changed to first list the holistic pages that offer you information on your portfolio and goals-based investments, followed by security-specific pages such as Equities and Funds.
