Biography |
Jerry has over 20 years’ investment experience. He joined Sarasin & Partners in 2016 from Allianz Global Investors where he spent 12 years as a UK, European and Global Equity fund manager. He co-managed the Brunner Investment Trust from 2010-2016. Prior to this he spent three years at Isis Asset Management (now BMO Global), five years at Schroders, and five years as a British Army Officer. |

Biography |
Jean Charles Belvo has been a Portfolio Manager Ltd in the Sustainable Asset Management division of Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd since April 2020. He is the Lead Portfolio Manager of the JSS Sustainable Equity – Next-Gen Consumer fund and the Co-Lead Manager of the JSS Sustainable Equity – SDG Opportunities fund (Article 9). Jean-Charles has a strong background from the buy side as an analyst and a portfolio manager. He started his career at La Financiere de l’Echiquier, a Paris-based boutique asset management company as an analyst focused on sustainable European equities. In 2018, he became the Lead Portfolio manager at Inocap Gestion managing the Eurozone equity strategy. In this position, he brought the fund to one of the top-performing Eurozone funds available and constructed the firm sustainable investment framework.
Jean-Charles Belvo graduated from the ESCP Business School with a Master in Management and a Diplom Kaufmann. He is also a CFA® charterholder. |

"Neil is a portfolio manager for the global equity income strategies. Within the global equity team he co manages Sarasin’s Institutional mandates and retail funds. Neil joined Sarasin & Partners in December 2017 from Polar Capital where he was Global Income Fund Manager. Previous to this Neil was Global Emerging Market Income & Growth Fund Manager. Neil also held positions with AXA Framlington, Hexam Capital Partners, Baring Asset Management and Framlington Investment Management. Neil started his career in 2001 after completing his degree at the University of Leeds.

Biography |
Tomasz Godziek is the Head of Thematic Equities and a Portfolio Manager at J. Safra Sarasin Sustainable Asset Management (JSS AM). He has been the lead portfolio manager of the JSS Sustainable Equity - Tech Disruptors fund since its launch in 2018. Tomasz and his team are also responsible for the other thematic funds at JSS - the Green Planet, SDG Opportunities, Next-Gen Consumer and Future Health funds. Tomasz has a specialist fundamental expertise in the information technology (IT) industry, thematic and sustainability research as well as a strong background in statistical analysis and programming. Tomasz joined JSS AM as a sustainable equity investment analyst in 2014. He started his career at Dow Jones Indexes. In 2011 he became an analyst at Stoxx (now Qontigo, part of Deutsche Börse) and became an index engineer in 2013 focusing on the development of sustainability, macroeconomic and style rotation indices.
Tomasz holds three master’s degrees, in global financial markets, international trade and business and management research. He is currently working towards a doctorate in active equity portfolio management at Henley Business School, where he analyses the impact of macroeconomic conditions on the returns of Information Technology stocks. |

Nikki is a portfolio manager for the global equity income strategies and works closely with our existing team of sector-focused Analysts. Nikki is also a research analyst working across the Global thematic universe. Nikki joined Sarasin in 2021 from Trium Capital where she managed a pan European market neutral long short UCITS fund. She has over 20 years of investment experience working for companies including Scottish Widows, GAM and Bluecrest. |

Kaisa Paavilainen has been a Portfolio Manager in the Sustainable Asset Management division of Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd since 2019. She is the Co-Lead Portfolio Manager of the JSS Sustainable Equity - SDG Opportunities fund (Article 9) and Co-Portfolio Manager on the JSS Sustainable Equity - Next-Gen Consumer strategy. She joined Bank J. Safra Sarasin in 2017 with a background in corporate finance, along with an extensive expertise in the consumer sectors and an in-depth experience in the field of sustainability research. Kaisa started her career in investment banking in 2004 at Barclays Capital in London before transferring to buy-side equity research and portfolio management in 2013.
Kaisa Paavilainen graduated from the Aalto University School of Business and London Business School with two Master’s degrees in International Economics and Finance. She is also a CFA® charterholder. |
