Morningstar analysts have issued a rating of Neutral on the Threadneedle UK fund, having placed the former Silver rating Under Review in 2014 on the back of management changes.

Following the departure of manager Simon Brazier and three analysts, Chris Kinder has taken over as lead manager. Kinder has a good track record on an extended alpha fund, but our analysts feel they need to see how he adapts to running significantly more assets in a long-only strategy. Given this, and the team level changes, we do not have the conviction to award a positive rating at this time.
